SUMMARY: The primary purpose of a collector is to assist Oklahoma Educators Credit Union in the collection of payments and resolution on delinquent loans.

  • Delivers professional service to every internal and external member contact.
  • Collects on loan portfolio as assigned. Coordinates the collection process between the member and credit union, with the interests of both parties in mind at all times.

SUMMARY: The IT Specialist assists the IT department to insure the smooth and effective operations of the Credit Union’s information and operating systems. The IT Specialist is primarily responsible for maintaining windows computer systems, Active Directory, and infrastructure support for the Credit Union. The IT Specialist will also assist in troubleshooting, resolving and/or escalating situations to the attention of senior management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, reconfigure, and engineer existing on-premise servers and network infrastructure in accordance with credit union best practices and information security standards.
  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair network performance issues from core enterprise services down to end-user connectivity.
  • Assist with local area network installations (switches, routers, modems, and Ethernet).

Marketing Manager 

OECU is a full-service financial institution providing financial services to educators and their families since 1960.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for promoting the Credit Union to increase the acquisition of memberships and member awareness concerning Credit Union products and services. The Marketing Manager will be expected to conduct market research; analyze factors such as: pricing, distribution and product performance. The Marketing manager will support the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials, assist in the production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits or other promotional materials. The Marketing Manager will provide statistical reports and recommendations to management and assist with the development plans for marketing. The Marketing Manager will supervise and direct the marketing staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, organize, develop, and implement marketing strategies for monthly and quarterly Credit Union promotions that are in alignment with the Credit Union’s strategic marketing plan, compliant, and within the marketing budget.
  • Produce a wide range of compliant and creative advertising campaigns for the credit union. Actively participate in regular Marketing Committee meetings.
  • Perform research on competitors and market trends. Produce quality work in a fast-paced environment in compliance with industry regulations. Recommend new products/services and/or modifications/improvements to existing products/services based on market research.
  • Complete timely, accurate, and organized marketing reports as needed.

Mortgage Loan Officer

Mortgage Loan Officer 

The Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) is responsible for proactively soliciting new mortgage business and selling OECU mortgage products to meet loan quality and production goals. Support OECU’s strategic effort in growing the mortgage portfolio and delivering extraordinary service to members and potential members. Initiate processing and preliminary underwriting as well as communicate with underwriting to ensure timely closings. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• The Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) must be able to dress and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

• The MLO shall exercise his/her independent, business judgment and discretion in granting loan applications that are in the best financial interest of the applicant and of OECU and in denying loan applications not in the best financial interest of the applicant and/or OECU. The MLO then submits loans to underwriting along with a final overview of analytical findings and a recommendation regarding the loan to management.

• Educate and advise members on the home refinancing process and how to best determine the right mortgage loan option; interview applicants in order to provide and obtain information needed to originate the loan process, including review of the member’s application; schedule meetings to obtain detailed loan information, evaluate and consider such loan information and answer any questions regarding the lending process. The MLO shall also maintain timely communication with applicants throughout the process and answer questions about loan terms, underwriting process, credit report, escrow, closing expectations and how to manage their mortgage after the closing.

• Utilize business acumen to expand and develop OECU referral relationships

• The MLO must be the trusted source for financial solutions by delivering extraordinary service and value with members, establishing ongoing financial services relationships, providing continuing service on all loans, encouraging members to continue their relationship with OECU and expanding their use of available services to best meet the member’s individual financial goals.

• The MLO shall frequently conduct research and analyze potential new loans/members/relationships by evaluation, reaching out to members and using his/her experience, skills and business judgment to provide information regarding the menu of services and products offered by OECU

• Engage in continuing education and development regarding all applicable regulatory obligations, policies, and legislation to ensure all services rendered maintain both legal and OECU compliance requirements.

• The MLO shall regularly use, develop and update skills and tools, including lending software, to conduct an initial analysis of credit, underwriting and other financial information to evaluate and determine the best recommendations for mortgage options for all applicants.

• Generate production from an internal list of members that may not be taking advantage of OECU’s mortgage products via outbound phone calls, email, and other electronic forms of communication.

Role

To assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs directly and through other Member Service Representatives; provides expertise with respect to more complex Credit Union services such as IRAs, Certificates of Deposit, Electronic Funds Transfers, Home Banking, etc; explains services, sets up new accounts, responds to problems and directs members to the appropriate departments and employees.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products, services, procedures, policies, and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Assists with technical problems and questions relating to products and regulations. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
